We created "animales de la granja" (farm animals) bingo and played together as a class.

We journaled where and what the butterflies might be doing now that they are back in nature.

The butterflies are: sucking nectar... laying eggs.

We created watercolour and sharpie "dientes de león" (dandelion) art!

 What an exciting week! Our butterflies hatched! We released them today (Wednesday)

We rotated through various centers: Count the Room, Roll a Monster, Pattern block and Plasticine Farm Animals

We create mariposa (butterfly) art, knowing that a butterfly's wings are symmetrical. 

We read Todd Parr's, "The Feel Good Book," and children journaled what makes them feel good.

We observed and sketched the chrysalis'. We are so excited for them to hatch. It should be any day now!
