This week we explored some Halloween centers. The children made gates and bridges for pumpkins out of a variety of materials, created a card, made patterns out of Halloween pictures and went on a word scavenger hunt.
We learned about el día de los muertos (The Day of the Dead). Here is some vocabulary we are learning:
- la calavera (skull)
- la vela (candle)
- las flores (flowers)
- la comida (food)

We began creating Calavera art. We will post pictures once they are complete :)
