We voted on our favourite pizza toppings. We then graphed the results in order according to popularity. The children were given the words in Spanish to label each topping, using their knowledge of letter sounds.
This week we have been discussing Indigenous peoples' connection to nature and the land. We journaled something that Mother Earth gives us.
We continue to practice the weather in Spanish:
- está soleado (it is sunny)
- está nublado (it is cloudy)
- está lluvioso (it is rainy)
- está ventoso (it is windy)
- está nevando (it is snowing)
We completed tulip art, using paint and fork prints. Look at the beautiful Spring art below!
We are sorting 3D shapes. Please have your child look for a 3D object at home, such as one shown on the chart below, label it with their name and bring it to school. We will be sorting 3D objects on Wednesday next week.
